2097 - .Net Software Developer - South Twin Cities Sub

Essential Functions / Primary Responsibilities and Duties

·         Participate in software development projects, including design, development, requirements review, managing scope, and managing personal deadlines.

·         Develop database-centric web applications, including our customer-facing application and internal tools.

·         Follow architecture and coding standards, and produce technical and functional business documentation.

·         Design, implement and maintain our Payment Card Industry (PCI) compliant ecommerce platform

·         Support and enhance deployed systems using both custom and configurable open source code.

·         Recognize system deficiencies, and suggest and implement effective alternative technical solutions.

·         Participate in product design, estimates and timeline management.

·         Daily participation in stand-up meetings. Participate in other Agile meetings, including Sprint demos, Sprint planning, and Sprint retrospectives.

·         Commute to and work in an office environment.

Required Skills and Knowledge

·         BS Computer Science or related field, or equivalent combination of training and experience.

·         2 or more years’ overall software development experience.

·         2 or more years’ experience developing web applications.

·         2 or more years’ experience with relational DBs, including SQL, TSQL, database design.

·         2 or more years’ experience with C#, ASP.NET MVC, HTML5, HTML, CSS, AJAX, JavaScript.

·         Strong knowledge of software development best practices, including Agile methodologies.

·         Strong analysis and problem solving skills. Self-directed, detail oriented, creative problem solver.
