Green field SAP Hana implementation

Implementing S/4 HANA across its organization worldwide and is seeking a skilled and energetic individual to grow with the company. The individual selected for this position will have a strong background in SAP BI/BW development and will possess a keen desire to transition to a HANA based environment. A required component of this role is the ability to master HANA data modeling skills. The position will be evaluated based on ability to learn and apply HANA data modeling skills.

On completion of transition, person in this role will be positioned as the lead developer in the BI / Analytics area for the organization and will play a key role in providing the information needed to take it to the next level by developing new reports and dashboards that deliver the insights needed to run the business in a competitive landscape.

The successful candidate will relish working in a strong team environment and possess excellent communication skills to effectively work in a fast paced and dynamic workplace. The candidate will be comfortable working directly with representatives from different functions of the business to elicit requirements, convert them into design docs and develop subsequent HANA models.

The individual in this position will apply proven analytical and problem solving skills to craft complex reporting solutions. A wide degree of collaboration, creativity, and latitude is expected in this greenfield implementation.

Duties and responsibilities

• Design and develop solutions in SAP Enterprise HANA (SP 8 and above) using HANA Studio.
• Leverage technical expertise to develop HANA models using Attribute View, Analytic View, and Calculation View.
• Integrate SAP HANA with SAP and non-SAP systems using SAP SLT, Smart data access, Data services and/or other ETL tools.
• Develop reports using SAP BI tools including WeBI, Lumira and Analysis for Office
• Develop and maintain EDW using BWoH
• Map business requirements to the technical architecture design and information model in SAP HANA.
• Implement HANA development best practices and develop performance optimized solutions.
• Work independently with minimal supervision and ensure timely deliverables.
• Proactively research and stay current on new tools and technologies that align with project needs.
• Lead technology focus groups and conduct knowledge sharing sessions.

Qualifications

Hands-on experience with one (or a combination) of the following specializations:

• Must have: Minimum 5 years of design and development experience in SAP BI/BW with at least 2 full life-cycle implementations. Any HANA data modeling skills will be a definite plus.

·     5-7 years of solid experience of developing Business Object Universes with reporting experience.
