The Quality Assurance Lead reports to the VP Information Technology and is a member of the company’s IT department. Primary responsibilities are assuring consistent quality of production by developing and enforcing testing best practices, test plans, validating processes and providing documentation.
Primary application is the SaaS platform The SaaS platform is a business-to-consumer application that must support multiple browsers and multiple device platforms including desktop/laptop, tablet and mobile. The SaaS platform is a responsive design/mobile enabled platform.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and document test cases and test plans based off of user requirements or knowledge of system’s features and requirements
- Execution of manual test cases
- Develop and maintain automation test scripts
- Document bugs in issue management tool
- Plan, develop and execute load testing and assist development staff to resolve issues
- Establish unit testing processes for developers and ongoing enforcement
- Ensure and approve code version/release code base is ready for production
- Perform entrance testing post-release
- Documentation of systems and processes
- Keep informed of industry trends and continuously improve environment and processes
- Other responsibilities as required

Qualifications:
- 4 year degree in business or related discipline
- 4-6 years experience in Quality Assurance role
- Knowledge and/or proficiency in JMeter and Selenium
- Knowledge and/or proficiency in JIRA
- Proficient in MS Office tools
