SaaS for digital communication.
Must have leadership qualities to go along with all the technical chops you would expect us to expect. You and your team will work closely with Product Management, Development, and Quality Assurance to devise and execute automation plans for all products. As a key component of our agile development process, you will become product experts that drive how our platform evolves and how features are implemented, tested, and monitored.
An OS-X / Linux shop whose process is centered on the Scrum and Kanban practices that make us most productive and foster a collaborative work environment. Advocate TDD, Collective Code Ownership, Small Releases, and Sustainable Pace.
Proud authors of a SaaS platform for digital communication management that supports millions of web requests and over a hundred million outbound messages per week. In addition to our core platform (written in RoR and Java) we support several other products written in a variety of technologies, and our roadmap is loaded with even more green-field projects and techs like full-text search and noSQL data stores. The variety in our product suite and the frequency with which we update it means we make extensive use of automated testing in our product development process, so we’re looking for someone to come in and take our Automation team to the next level.
Have these to be out person:
• Excited to build and lead an awesome team of test automation engineers
• Fluent in test automation theory and Behavior-Driven Development
• An expert in BDD frameworks and automation tools
• Comfortable not only within those tools and frameworks, and also at a SQL prompt or a Linux command line
• An accomplished web application tester with leadership experience to go along with several years of production-quality SaaS application exposure
• A fount of knowledge on general testing theory, testing levels, and testing types such as risk-based, accessibility, and performance testing
• Eager to be part of an open, collaborative team; learning from experts and mentoring less experienced teammates
