Seeking an experienced Software Architect / Project Manager to join our innovative and creative team.
Someone who has strong business acumen, ability to present well, and above average communication skills. This role will serve as an Engagement Manager who can meet with current and/or prospective new customers and be able to understand their technical and business problems to help offer a better solution. Once a vision for solutions is developed, this visionary will bring their vision back to the development team and perform in the role of Project Architect and Software Manager.
This person needs to be personable, and be able to talk and sell their ideas to our clients.
The ability to lead a project or manage an effort is a basic requirement, but this is not the most significant feature of the person we’re looking for. Need someone who is able to create visions, to synthesize ideas, and create practicable software architectures, both big and small. We need someone who can see the big picture and also get engage in the detail
• Working directly with our clients to assess and analyze their issues and then presenting a creative and robust solution to meet their needs
• Leading development teams in the design and architecture of cutting edge software using the latest Microsoft tools, such as C#, ASP.NET, HTML 5, WCF, Silverlight, etc.
• Helping to create and reinforce our software development practices and standards
• Assisting our development and QA staff in ensuring high quality software
Required experience: • Minimum 10 years in Software Development
• Minimum 4 years experience as a Software Project Manager or Development Manager
• Demonstrated experience in visioning applications and developing software architectures, as well as directing efforts of other developers.
• Minimum 3 years experience with object-oriented philosophies and development using C# and .NET Framework, ASP.NET and SQL Server (2005/2008)
• HTML5, CSS3
• Java Script
Any of these would be a
PLUS:
• Experience leading teams in a structured software development environment
• Web service experience utilizing XML/WCF
• WPF, Silverlight and MVC
• MFC/C++
• Experience with unit testing and test frameworks (MS, NUnit, etc)
• Team Foundation Server
• Web services (WCF, REST , jQuery)
• Mobile development (iOS, Android, Windows Phone)
