The Web Developer is responsible for designing and maintaining corporate web sites and web applications. They will be responsible for making technical and design decisions that will improve our existing applications as well as play a major role in helping to build a long-term framework for future development. They are expected to be very strong in client side development (including jQuery, AJAX, and java script), as well as having strong experience with MVC (C#), Entity Framework, and TFS. This person is expected to have a very strong understanding of popular web-site (e-commerce) standards—we are looking to take our web applications to the next level!
Key Responsibilities for the Position:• Maintain e-commerce web application—including enhancements to look and feel
• Help tie e-commerce web application to company ERP system
• Modernize corporate web-sites
• Creating Client Development Standards
• Help develop a development framework for future development—CSS, jQuery, MVC, TDD, Entity Framework
• Develop and maintain software standards and best practices
• Work with marketing group and business users to define requirements
• Help define corporate strategy for software development and user interface standards
• Help analyze changes in data requirements as we move to an ERP solution
Qualifications:• 5+ years direct experience working as Web Developer
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong analytical skills (macro and micro) and process orientation
• Strong self-management skills in multiple-priority, high ambiguity situations
• Ability to proactively communicate at multiple levels of the organization
• Comfortable with resolving conflicting viewpoints and achieving consensus
• Collaborative work style
• Strong sense of personal accountability for results

• ASP.NET / MVC
• SQL
• CSS/HTML
• C#/VB.NET
• Web Services/XML/WSDL
• JavaScript / jQuery
