Learn and specialize in QlikView. Work with clients in setting up QlikView to match their needs.
Essential responsibilities: • Have a general understanding of BI solution configuration and customization capabilities.
• Capable of designing and/or developing a BI solution to meet the client or prospects needs.
• Solution demonstrations to the client and facilitation of refinement sessions.
• Provide analysis and design consultation.
• Translate client requirements into functional design specifications.
• Deliver client, prospect and internal projects according to the project timeline.
• Provide ongoing support for BI applications, ensuring overall client satisfaction.
• Work with the Business Development team in assessing scope and approach on opportunities.
• Providing technical assistance and subject matter expertise on sales calls.
• Work in a project team environment, both with team members and client team members.
Essential Qualifications:• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or similar technical background, preferably with business intelligence knowledge.
• Understanding of basic database design concepts and the ability to interpret SQL statements.
• Ability to develop and test business packaged applications.
• Basic understanding of data modeling theories and concepts.
• Passion for learning how to use and apply the features and functions BI solutions.
• Experience using a report writing solution like Tableau, Pentaho, Birst, Microsoft SSRS, Crystal Reports, or QlikView.
• Experience analyzing and/or reviewing business functions and processes as a basis for effectively designing, developing, and implementing business intelligence solutions.
• Demonstrated communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle multiple assignments with minimal supervision.
• Ability to build and foster professional business relationships.
