Position Overview The Senior Unified Communications Engineer is responsible for the design, implementation, and support of Cisco IP Telephony platform. This position works with minimal supervision and will work closely with the Senior Telecommunications Analyst to refine and execute the Global Unified Communications roadmap.
This position is located at our office in Eden Prairie, MN.
Responsibilities include:• Design, configure, and implement and maintain Cisco voice solutions including Call Manager, Call Manager Express, Unity, Unity Express and voice Gateways
• Design and implement and maintain additional voice solutions such as Unified Messaging, IPCC, IPCC Express, E911, Mobility, VTAdvantage, and Presence.
• Troubleshooting and problem solving for the Cisco UC environment
• Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery planning for Voice environment.
• Management of PSTN services and service providers
• Travel up to 15% and will include both domestic and international travel.
Qualifications• BS or AS with an emphasis on telecommunications or equivalent work experience
• Working knowledge of Cisco Unified Contact Center Enterprise (UCCE)
• Current working knowledge of Cisco Technologies with an emphasis on Cisco Unified Communications
• Knowledge of Avaya communications manager a plus
• CCVP certification desired but not required.
• 3 plus years experience
