Responsibilities: •Provide Level 3 production technical/development support and program enhancements for Java programs and Java Message Service.
•Support, enhance, maintain, and develop current and new applications/systems.
•Handle escalation issues as needed, which includes; troubleshooting, repair, and testing, through documentation, staging, and code promotion.
•Provide Level 3 production technical/development support and program enhancements for .NET applications.
•Knowledge sharing and collaboration is critical and expected of each of us; each team member will participate in and contribute to the Knowledge Base site providing process documentation, new tools, solutions to issues, and shares new ideas and encourages others to do the same.
Qualifications: •7 + years of Java programming. Familiarity with .NET Framework - VB.NET and/or C#.
•BS Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business Administration OR equivalent work experience will be considered.
•Required knowledge of Java Message Service. Preferred: Oracle MQ (Open MQ/GlassFish) experience.
•Required Java application server experience around Web Services. Preferred: Websphere and Websphere Portal experience.
•Communicates clearly and effectively with internal teams to identify need, evaluate alternative business solutions and provide recommendations when needed.
