1776 - SAP FICO BA - Northern Twin Cities Sub

This is a GREAT career GROWTH opportunity. The company is looking to a SAP FICO BA interested in contributing to the growth of the company by increasing the utilization of SAP FICO functionality.

Experience:
o 3-5 years SAP configuration experience in the SAP FI/CO.

This is growing company but yet small enough to go down the hall to talk to whoever to discuss whatever issue needs to be resolved.

This individual will collaborate with internal clients, IT colleagues, and other key stake holders to define client requirements, develop, and present solutions. To assure that the alignment of all business processes follow corporate standards, this person will also be responsible for implementing SAP functionality at all locations, providing systems support, as well as training. This individual will be mainly responsible for the FI/CO areas of SAP ERP. They must have knowledge of foreign business practices, including tax.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Implement SAP configuration in the cost controlling and financial accounting areas. Is aware of the impact on other upstream and downstream configuration and processes within SAP.

2. Research, recommend and implement best accounting practices in SAP based on specific business practices and requirements.

3. Build relationships with internal clients, senior management and IT colleagues.

4. Provide functional support to end users.

5. Provide leadership in establishing SAP cost controlling and financial controlling methods.

6. Train end users on assigned modules, and provide technical guidance and cross training to peers.

7. Implement and enhance SAP features. Recommends methods to use standard configuration and existing code to support business requirements.

8. Evaluates and recommends software packages, coordinates implementation of packages selected, and integrates with other systems.

9. Performs appropriate duties, as needed, to support the Information Technology Help Desk with intermediate technical knowledge. Understands the technology of systems, including server hardware and software, networks, workstation hardware and software, operating systems, and database systems.

10. Work on acquisition/divestiture system conversions as needed.

11. Perform proper testing and documentation before moving changes to the production environment, and ensures systems have proper control and safeguards.

12. Stay current on SAP functional knowledge. Remains aware of developments within the broad area of Information Technology.

13. Models appropriate behaviors and effective communication skills, quality listening, giving and receiving feedback, and effective meeting behavior.

14. When required works on flexible and rotating schedules to provide client support, including after hours support.
