Job Summary With more than 14,500 global users on single clustered system located in North America and remotely managed by an outsourcing company, looking for an Exchange ranger to oversee the operations at the datacenter and ensure all proper procedures are followed and mitigate risk when possible, suggest go forward upgrade plans and extensive vendor management with regards to support and maintenance. You will be the member of the Corporate IT team reporting to Senior IT Applications Manager.
Responsible for the following: • Provide vision, leadership, and rapid deployment oversight to ensure the company's technology keeps pace with evolving market and business demands.
• Provide strategic and tactical planning, development, evaluation, and coordination of the messaging systems for the business.
• Manage enterprise messaging development and support to budget, schedule, scope, and quality guidelines for the following areas: Microsoft Exchange, OCS and variety of social media tools
• Manage service provider relationships including ensuring SLAs are met, billing, issue escalation, vendor selection, negotiation, prioritization, and ongoing coordination.
• Manage relationships with service and equipment providers
• Hands-On guidance of global Exchange / Outlook support staff including their talent development.
• Manage a 24x7 datacenter and disaster recovery site
• Establish standards, processes, and policies for corporate wide messaging systems
Job Requirements & Skills Ideal candidate will have significant implementation experience in Microsoft messaging and infrastructure design, implementation and support.
• Exchange migration experience
• Familiar with Quest Migration & management Tool experience
• Familiar with Active Directory and LDAP
• BA/BS degree is preferred
