110K to 115KJob Responsibilities:• Design and develop modifications and enhancements to integrated reporting solution
• Work with different functional groups to analyze requirements and manage expectations
• Work with team members to design, develop and test data model requirements based on business objectives
• Work with team members or independently to design, develop and test complex reports based on business objectives
• Provide technical support to the Professional Services and Customer Support groups for deployment and support issues
• Advocate best practices for customization and deployment
• Lead BI initiatives in conjunction with project management
• Follow best practices for source control
Qualifications:• Minimum of 6 years BI development experience
• Minimum of 2 years Cognos experience
• Excellent knowledge of Cognos 8 Administration
• Excellent Knowledge of Cognos 8.4 Business Intelligence products including Framework Manager, Report Studio, Query Studio, Transformer and Analysis Studio, Metric Studio
• Excellent relational, OLAP, Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, Multi-Dimensional database modeling and design skills
• Agile development methodologies
• Complex report writing skills (build complex prompt pages, drill through definitions, etc)
• Excellent analytical skills for requirements development, deployment and customer support
• Results-oriented self-starter that can work with limited supervision
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
