Description of Essential Functions of the Position:
The Quality Analyst serves as an expert in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) within integrated development and works with Product Development team, and Information Technology team in facilitating the UAT testing of products. The position will be responsible for validating that the application delivery meets defined quality measurements
The QA is responsible for:
1. Create comprehensive test cases based on software requirements and functional specification documents for assigned projects.
2. Coordinates, directs, and documents all testing activities for assigned projects
3. Execute test procedures and document results using HP Quality Center
4. Work closely with business team in deriving test conditions based on business requirements and use cases
5. Lead the analysis, identification and resolution process of "bugs" and respond to such requests when they occur
6. Validate product “bug” fixes
7. Ensure timely communication to Lead QA Developers of test case results
Candidates Should Meet the Following Requirements:
1. Bachelors Degree in technology, communications, or business administration required.
2. 3-4 years of experience in Quality Assurance, primarily working with UAT testing
3. Ability to write test cases, execute test scenarios and perform various types of Quality efforts including functional, regression, and UAT testing.
4. Able to analyze complex business system requirements in a wide range of functional areas and to work with others to ensure quality
5. Excellent written communication skills.
6. Good analytical and problem solving skills.
7. Knowledge of the Product Development Life Cycle (PDLC).
