Team or Tech Lead who wants to become a Supervisor.

Projects the next two years:
Project 1: In the process of replacing 150,000 piecses of equipment to equipment with two-way communication meters. New system will be their step into big data. They will be creating a data warehouse.
Project 2: Interval data which consist of things like texting critical information to customers.
Project 3: Major upgrades to Microsoft package
Project 4: They put in service bus using biztalk. They just implemented biztalk.
Technical environment:
- It is a Microsoft Dynamics Package on SQL server. Other technical things include: Harris Utilities, Harris CRM. They put in Microsoft Dynamics in 2013 from Oracle.
- One data center
- No off-shoring
Organization Structure:
- Reports to IT Manager who reports to the CFO or reports to the CEO
- This supervisor position will have 7 direct reports of BA and Developers
- There are NO contractors and NO off shore IT.
IT Department:
Total IT personnel is 20 people:
- 7 in applications. Seasoned people.
- Rest are in help desk and network support functions. Seasoned people.
- Have one very strong Project Manager.
IT Manager leadership style:
- Very hands off. Hands on where the person needs or wants growth.
This Supervisor position will have 7 direct reports.
The position is a replacement. The person who was in the position decided after 5 years that he wanted to be analyst not a supervisor. So, Connexus granted his request to move back into an analyst position.
Top four requirements want candidate to have:
- Solid technical aptitude and BA skills. Seasoned BA skills.
- Some type of supervision even if not formal. Could be team/tech lead ready for the next step of managerial things like performance reviews etc.
- Someone who has worked with package software and SDLC.
- Seasoned: 10 plus years of IT experience.
