Dynamic growing company is rounding out the team with a strong Business Analyst.
The Business Systems Analyst will be the liaison between various business functions and the application development team(s) to ensure the successful delivery and support of technical applications and solutions.
Responsibilities include:• Responsible for gathering and documenting detailed requirements, designing feature-based systems, and supporting the development life cycle.
• Assure business requirements have been met.
• Responsible for supporting multiple development projects simultaneously and working knowledge of the systems development life-cycle.
• Work with Subject Matter Experts, internal and external customers, in developing, documenting and representing customer requirements.
• Act in a consultative manner with the users as well as the development organization in determining the best approaches for providing customer solutions.
• Effectively deal with scope on an agile project understanding breadth and depth of the solution and articulate to team for estimating and release planning.
• Facilitate discussion between the product owner, QA and technical team throughout Agile development process.
incrementally defining requirements using user stories and use cases.
Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree, 4-6 years as a technical business analyst across multiple projects,
• Understanding of project management and quality assurance roles within the SDLC and Agile development methodology.
• Be an innovative, analytical, thinker in order to develop conceptual informatics solutions to scientific problems.
• Understand current development technologies (Linux, MySQL, PHP, Apache, Java, XML, web services).
• Ability to multi-task and react positively to multiple priorities and demands on time.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills. Skilled in liaison activities.
• Demonstrated understanding Agile and requirements' documentation approaches
• Work effectively/collegially with colleagues from a wide range of roles and backgrounds.
• Maintain a “big picture” perspective.
