An opportunity to be involved in global operations for E1 Marketing Sales, Supply Chain and Financials.
Senior Application Developer to support global business units including locations in Brazil and Argentina. The major ERP business functions to be supported include Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain (including Inventory Management, Forecasting and Procurement), and Financials. You must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, be detail oriented and able to work both in a team environment and independently. Candidates with fluency in either Portuguese or Spanish will be given preference.
Responsibilities • Provide front-end analysis, design, development, testing, documentation, implementation, and maintenance of ERP application development projects.
• Work under general direction with the ability to act independently in determining methods and procedures on new or special assignments.
• Work on complex projects and problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors and additional specialized technical knowledge.
• Coordinate with users to determine requirements.
• Administer the development and maintenance of business functions and objects, analyze standard and custom developed source code and recommend design changes to facilitate business requirements.
• Formulate and define system scope and objectives for assigned projects.
• Devise or modify procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results.
• Prepare detailed specifications from which programs will be written.
• Be responsible for program design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation.
• Instruct, direct, and check the work of other systems analysis and development personnel.
• Lead in developing ERP systems in a team environment
Basic Qualifications • BS or BA degree in Management Information Systems, Business Management or 7 years of work experience at a high level
• Minimum of 5 years of application development experience
• Minimum of 5 years developing solutions in J.D. Edwards Enterprise One and Developer's Toolset
• Experience with writing and integrating custom bolt-on applications
• Experience with JD Edwards Enterprise One Z-file Processing
• Experience in the Process industry
• Ability to work in a team environment without direct supervision.
