120k bonus eligibleOracle Technical Lead Notes from manager:Current candidate has 20 years Oracle exp. Has Agile Methodology exp.
Will lead Oracle implementation managing the project then show their value after the implementation is done.
Ideally would like the candidate to have Oracle R12
Agile methodology and Scrum exp. and able to articulate examples of the exp.
Job Responsibilities: IN ORDER IMPORTANCEInfrastructure• Setup environment and determine if the right hardware to support the environment.
• Lead technical activities related to Infrastructure and Development for a global Oracle R12 implementation, lead support and development of a global shared service organization after the implementation and build a multi-generational application map to support future business needs
• Ensure effective capacity planning and execution
• Ensure effective performance monitoring and any related issue resolution
• Coordinate network configuration
• Lead key architectural design decisions
• Set up environments, tools for development onshore and/or offshore
• Build schedules and detailed checklists for cut over
• Own data migration and plans
• Coordination of DBA, data center and other key resource activities
Development • Lead key technical design decisions and resourcing related to all CEMLI's (Configuration, Extension, Modification, Localization, Integration); this includes coordination to interface legacy (source) systems to Oracle R12, leveraging BizTalk as an orchestration tool
• Coordinate with legacy (source) system owners to modify source systems as necessary and/or provide system data for design, build and test phases
• Partner with and provide leadership to consultants to ensure efficient and high-quality development work
• Participate in functional design workshops
• Review functional designs for technical completeness
• Review technical design and sign-off
• Perform code review
• Review test scripts and results
• Assist with link and UAT testing / review
• SR (Service Request) monitoring and escalation with Oracle
• Coordinate developer and other key resource activities
Project Management• Creation and ownership of project plans
• Resource management of developer and DBA employee and/or consultant resources
Qualifications:
• Demonstrated project management skills including project planning and organization
• Demonstrated resource management skills
• Effective communication skills - both written and verbal and ability to communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization
• Ability to analyze issues, develop possible options and recommend solutions
• Oracle experience required - preferably both implementation and application management
• Experience with agile development methodologies preferred
• Some travel possible
