2099 - .Net Software Developer - Southwest Minneapolis Sub

As a .Net Devloper work with Mobile and Web Based Applications.

Purpose:
The Applications Developer develops and supports software assets. As a member of the agile development team, this position will interface with business analysts, project managers, product owners and business users to understand requirements, and then work with the development team to design, develop and implement solutions.

Key Result Areas:
Designs and develops solutions in three primary areas.

1. Corporate business systems: Developments aim to improve business accuracies and process efficiencies.
2. Franchisee tools: Developments enhance and support franchisees in operating their businesses.
3. Customer apps: Developments include public facing web applications and mobile applications to create customer loyalty and enhance their experience.  This position will work with a mixture of application languages, but with a primary focus on C# .NET and within many environments including Dynamics CRM, SharePoint, Android, iOS, MBPM, Sitecore CMS, and SQL Server.

Provides support and maintenance to software assets by identifying problem areas and coding bug fixes.

Operates as a member of an agile functioning development team.

Key Technical Competencies:
• 6+ years’ experience of application development within challenging and changeable environments comprising diverse technologies.
• Experienced with working on Agile teams and within paired programming environments.
• Experience developing within ASP.NET, C#, SQL Server, Web Services, JavaScript, CSS, AJAX, HTML & XML.
• Experience with Microsoft toolsets and libraries.
• Nice to have, but not required, experience developing within Sitecore CMS, WPF/XAML, SSRS, iOS, and Android.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical tasks.
• Quick, analytical thinker and excellent problem solver when under pressure.
• Strong communication skills with an ability to communicate technical concepts in a non-technical manner to users.
• Ability to prioritize and manage tasks.
• Ability to proficiently work on cross-functional teams.
• High level of organization skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Motivated and self-directed with a proven ability to work in a team environment.
• Strong application and database analytical and troubleshooting skills.
