Role:
The Senior Director of Technology & Development is responsible for all technical and managerial aspects of IT and development strategy. This position is responsible for establishing the company's technical vision and leading product development by directing the IT and development departments according to the strategic plan. The Senior Director of Technology and Development will have a proven ability to drive systems design and development from analysis through to day-to-day management. A minimum of ten years of technology experience with at least five years of direct leadership responsibility is required.
Oversight of product manager, R&D, New Devlopment/QA.

CEO’s a hard charging person. While not a technical guru, she knows that tech plays a large role in her industry and has a number of existing and upcoming products in the pipeline through their R&D division in Ireland.
She’s not going to have time to hand-hold someone that doesn’t know how to stand on their own two feet. As such, she’s looking for the following:
Strong personality, opinionated, willing to share thoughts, able to handle a fast-paced environment, can see the big picture, strategic, creative, product visionary, willing to take risks, confident, big picture, and can deliver results…. go, go, go
Delivering results is the bottom line for Kristen. No “snowflakes” allowed. Kristen will challenge you and occasionally cuss and swear. If you can’t handle it, then this position doesn’t work for you.
Suspect this person needs to be a technical agnostic…that is, someone that can walk into an existing environment, grasp what they’ve got going on, and seamlessly transition into the existing technical flow. In other words, they’ll be able to see the big “technical” picture and not come in with an agenda of change.
CEO be handing them the keys to the Ferrari…they need to take it and run.
