Report to VP of IT who is a superb mentor.
Provide technical leadership for .Net development. The keep up to date with the current versions of Microsoft. Define standards and processes.
Will work with the companies core business application. The applicaiton with what makes the company tick so always doing news things.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide technical leadership to development team
- Develop and grow relationships with the business users
- Confer with all levels of the organization on development requests
- Provides technical advice and training to other systems professionals and users
- Provide direction in a SCRUM based development methodology
- Manage a team of developers including reviews, mentoring/coaching, hiring, etc.
- Help manage the Product direction and Roadmap
- Assist in the creation of long-term IT strategy and plans
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to understand and solve business problems with technology based solutions
- 10+ years of experience in a full life cycle development environment
- 7+ years of experience working with MS .NET Framework, MS Visual Studio (C#) and n-tier architecture
- 7+ years of MS SQL development and Object Oriented Design
- The ability to develop Business Requirements and Business Justification artifacts
- Possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills needed to document, plan and collaborate with users and senior management
- Detail oriented with excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
