2047 - Network Engineer - Minneapolis, MN

What you will do:

•    Responsible for the installation, management and administration of network devices
•    Work with the Network Manager for architecting, designing, planning and implementation of network designs
•    Provide technical expertise in all phases of equipment/application life cycles beginning with initial planning and feasibility analysis through implementation and enhancements
•    Work with multiple networking technologies such as Cisco, Microsoft, HP, WatchGuard, VMWare and many others
•    Work with network carriers for test and turn up of WAN technologies
•    Continuous and professional interaction with customers
•    Work with new projects and new products

What they are looking for:

•    2 year degree or College Degree
•   Solid Cisco experience
•    Must be highly proficient and experienced with routing, switching, wireless, firewalls, and data center networking
•    Minimum 5 years specifically in the networking field;
•    Willing to learn
•    Self-motivated 
•    Solid knowledge of security best practices.
•    Able to configure and manage firewalls, primarily Cisco ASA and WatchGuard.
•    Knowledge of WAN optimization and load balancing is also a plus
