2038 - Senior Software Engineer - Minneapolis, MN

Responsible for managing assigned web projects, the software engineers that help in the development efforts.  Ensures projects are accurately estimated and developed, help other software engineers to understand what they need to build.

Have strong self-performance management and problem-solving skills.

Ideal candidate must possess an understanding of relational databases, application architecture, and other backend technical capabilities.

Responsibilities

1. Will have backend development effort of 1-3 projects at a time, while supporting any other engineers.
2. Working with clients to write functional and technical requirements.
3. Reviewing functional and technical requirements
4. Break projects down into tasks estimating time required per task completion
5. Staying up-to-date with software versions of the packages used in development.
6. Write documentation, as needed.
7. Maintain high quality code using well defined unit-testing

Required Education and Experience

1. 2 years with MySQL syntax and database structures
2. 2 years with PHP.
3. 2 years with html and CSS.
