This company builds test systems for many industries. Always a new technical challenge coming at them.
Responsible for large and complex projects. Activities range from day to day management; ensuring tasks outlined are assigned to the appropriate resources to working with leadership to resolve issues and/or roadblocks.
Responsibilities:
- Develop an IT project team that ensures the required parties and skill sets are assigned with time commitment.
- Collaborate with the process owner and project sponsor to understand the projects primary objectives. Facilitate the definition of IT activities and steps that will deliver on the projects objectives.
- Successfully deliver projects - are on-time, on-budget with customer satisfaction and quality execution.
- Ensure the Project Management Office (PMO) and team members are informed of the progress. Provide a weekly project status report.
- Utilizate approved project management methodology for consistency and alignment of activities. Drive the solution, the plan and the work.
- Supervise, train and manage staff to accomplish deadlines and project deliverables.
- Build relationships with process owners, project sponsors, architects, or other team members.
Looking for the following skills and experience:
- B.S. Degree in Information Technology or a related field.
- In-depth SAP knowledge (FICO, SD modules preferred).
- 10+ years of demonstrated IT project leadership experience.
- Familiarity and experience working with waterfall methodology.
- Organizational leadership, process and project management skills.
- Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize, delegate, and handle multiple tasks.
- A team-oriented individual with the ability to work in high demand/output situations.
