Provide electronic services for viewing data and financial transactions through Virtual Rooms, Electronic Discovery, Electronic Language Translation, Electronic Election Services for Financial Services and Legal Companies.

Situation

Over the past 15 years this well established business and a leader in their industry has acquired many businesses. These businesses have not been fully integrated into the company. The CEO has many initiatives around stream lining and integrating the companies and Information Technology is a key piece of accomplishing this. They will be buying and putting in place a lot of new software.

Job

This is a Thought Leadership position. In the first year will doing a lot of exploring figuring out where the company is at technically. Starting later in the first year into the second year will be moving toward defining architecture processes, creating governance structure and compliance. Work closely with the executive team to make sure an enterprise architecture is in place for the company to execute their corporate strategy.

This job could easily become a Director position.

CIO

He is hands off. He will want people who can work independently and has strong communication skills.
