Business:

Creating a clean healthy environment by ridding the environmental of industrial and government waste and handling emergency spill responses for the past 40 years.

Situation:

The data being "managed" is GIS data. Due to growth they are adding a position to share in support responsibilities. The role will evolve into 60% DBA and 40% support.

The Job:

Provide DBA support designing, implementing, and maintaining databases. Integration of data bases and applications into solutions. Develop security schemes, be involved in disaster recovery activities and planning.

Team:

This DBA position and one other.

Technology:

Microsoft SQL Server.

Personality:

Someone who has a passion for learning. There are quite a few of projects that will make an impact on the environment of the world.
