• Assume operational responsibility for LAN/WAN, wireless, telephone, and monitoring systems as assigned. • Respond quickly to issues affecting the network environment to maintain high availability and uptime. • Establish strong working relationships with peers (at all levels of the organization) and business unit contacts. • Work effectively with limited direction.
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 1-3 years of hands-on experience with Windows desktop OS’s and Windows server platforms including server builds, server maintenance, AD administration and IIS configuration.
- Support appliances such as spam and web filters
- Ability to deal effectively in a fast moving team environment, multi-task, and manage several projects concurrently while providing strong attention to detail and operating with a sense of urgency, focus, and discipline.
- Demonstrated experience with CISCO routing/switching and CISCO secure networking technologies
- Availability and willingness to work off-hours (when needed) and participate in a 24×7 on-call rotation. Some local travel (primarily the greater metro) required.
