Will be building web sites from scratch plus other development.
Description:> Understand of high-availability, heavily trafficked web-based platforms
> Architect, design, develop, test, implement and maintain UI code and graphics
> Provide development direction and guidance to other team members and local contract developers
> Able to deploy and maintain code to meet application and customer needs
> Eliminate /automate manual tasks for the team
> Assist with migration of clients from old platform to new MVC-based platform
> Research, recommend, and deploy new technologies to properly apply system & data resources to business needs from a UX perspective
> Perform optimization, design and security code reviews
> Demonstrated ability to examine day to day processes and recommend improvements
> Capable of trending observations on system and application failures/bottlenecks and recommending approaches to resolve and proactively prevent them
> Support the daily operations of the code base and appropriately applies resources to ensure integrity and uptime/availability of the customer-facing systems
> Act as first point of contact and response for issues related to application related issues
> Manage relationships with vendor technical support resources to resolve problems quickly and restore service in the event of issues
> Implement effective solutions consistent with the size and scope of the business need
Requirements:> College degree in computer science or equivalent, and 4 years’ experience with standard UI software and cross-browser cross-device compatibility techniques in a web-based environment
> Knowledge of relevant Microsoft and other key technologies including HTML, XHTML , CSS, XSLT, Javascript/JQuery, iframes, Visual Studio, web services
> Excellent trouble-shooting skills that possess technical breadth and depth
> Comfortable working in a collaborative team structure yet able to work independently
> Strong analytical skills; excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to think strategically and act tactically
> Beneficial: Knowledge of native iOS & Android development, NET 4.x, Doubleclick, SQLServer, Flash, Photoshop, Illustrator, AJAX, PHP
