1856 - Enterprise Information Architect - Madison, WI

Enterprise Information Architect to establish and execute on a brand new enterprise wide Information Architecture initiative within the healthcare domain of this very successful healthcare company. This role is based in Madison, Wisconsin, one of the most gorgeous cities in the Midwest. The Enterprise Information Architect (EIA) role is a technical position with the primary accountability for managing information persistence and acquisition as well as enterprise strategies related to information production and consumption. This role shall be accountable for all Information Architecture Activities including but not limited to: current state documentation, information strategy, enterprise data model, Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) strategy, interface and service design, conceptual – logical – IA project deliverables, System of Record (SOR) determination, analytical strategy and operational strategy. This individual will be involved in research of business problems and potential solutions, in strategy and planning, in collaborating with portfolio and solution architects on solution design, in consulting with others, in improving business and system performance, and in applying standards and governance principles. This individual shall be equally able to communicate with the business at one level and application development at another.
This position will also assist in the development of the Information vision and Strategies, IT roadmap / Architecture by collaborating with Portfolio architects and in the development of needed skills throughout the organization. This role shall be fluent in data modeling, data flow diagrams, and Unified Modeling Language (UML). This individual shall continually seek ways to expand the efficiency and the effectiveness of the Information Architecture team.

To be considered for this role you will:
• Possess a Bachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline with an information technology focus
• Minimum of 5 years experience in any of the following: Information Architecture, Data Architecture, Application Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, Integration Architecture, Database Administration
• Deep understanding and experience with strategies, technologies and tools in data modeling, profiling, quality management, performance and multi modal delivery aspects across one of the methodologies like ETL, MDM, SOA BI discipline
