Recognized as an expert and a leader throughout the IT community. Utilizes in-depth knowledge of the organizations tactical and strategic business objectives, the enterprise technological environment, the organization structure, strategic technological opportunities and requirements. As an individual contributor, will be a major contributor to the success of mission critical, complex, typically large, often enterprise-wide major architecture projects and innovations. Responsibilities include maintaining domain-level data models, coordinating and working with resources from the business, development, and database administration areas to develop an information solution that advances best practices within Information Architecture.
EDUCATION The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

ADDITIONAL JOB INFORMATION - Performs Lead Architecture role for complex (high architectural significance involving one or more of the following: new applications, new services, complex integration between applications, products or vendors, significant cross-domain impacts, new databases, new technology, etc.), mission critical projects or programs
- Collaborates with Business Analysts to identify impacted Use Cases and determines architectural significance (and priority) for requirements gathering
- Produces our company's standard UML models (Use Case Diagram, Component Designs, etc.) that depict the appropriate solutions that align to our company's standards, guidelines and strategies
- Develops component-based solutions that are flexible, loosely coupled and highly cohesive
- Promotes reuse of models and software
- Maintains Domain Control Book according to Application Architecture practice standards and direction of TSA
- Works (collaborates) effectively across technical domains, with Architects and other technical resources
- Ensures end-to-end solution (across technical domains) that meets business requirements
- Leads technical assessments of vendor products or new technologies
- Independently performs the Solution Lead for Ideation and Affordability assessments producing a high quality Preliminary Solution Document
- Supports multiple concurrent project assignments
- Effectively negotiates delivery dates for all work products with Project Manager
- Participates in planning activities with project team providing direction from architecture perspective (technical dependencies, architectural risks, etc.)
- Ensures alignment to our company's standards and guiding principles (EAG, Infrastructure, blueprints)
- Participates in work product inspections for other Architects within domain and provides feedback that provides value
- Leads projects toward adoption of appropriate technologies
- Identifies risks and issues and recommends effective mitigation strategies
- Facilitates solution sessions with all stakeholders effectively
- Attends and participates in (contributes to) all Application Architecture Practice sessions
- Conducts all required reviews as prescribed in our company's methodology
- Escalates issues to Architecture Management team as needed
- Builds relationships with Senior Program Management and Business Partners
