Will conduct project and support functions to support the business. You must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, be detail oriented, able to work in a team environment and independently.
Job Responsibilities:• Provide front-end analysis, design, testing, documentation, implementation, and support of application development projects
• Define and formulate scope and objectives through research and fact-finding
• Plan and execute system testing, facilitate user acceptance testing, and manage communication throughout the lifecycle.
• Devise or modify procedures to solve complex problems for desired results
• Guide business customers through business case development for new applications/functionality, including cost / benefit analysis and risk / impact analysis
• Minimize application support work load by refining error management and moving initial triage to the Service Center
• Analyze business strategy and user needs, document specifications, and translate business objectives into proper system requirement specifications
• Present technical solutions that enhance the value of our customers’ products and services
• Assure secondary resources are defined and are well trained to support the application
• Develop, manage enhancements, and take ownership of Quality Assurance and acceptance testing of completed projects
• Manage vender deliverables based on determined requirements for projects and the enhancement list after installation
• Assist in managing the business application pipeline and determining priorities
• Design and evaluate programs for internal systems within functional areas
• Formulate logic for new systems, devices logic procedures, prepare flowcharting, develop tests and or debug scripts or programs
• Develop, recommend and maintain changes with conversions, system implementation plans, and system standards
• Map data to facilitate data transfer between systems, prepare and obtain approval of system and programming documentation
• Train users in conversions and implementation of systems
Basic Qualifications• Bachelor degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, or Business Management
• 6 years experience as a business analyst
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP or JDE distribution, financials, inventory & reporting).
