Work with Project Stakeholders to define project scope, cost, and time objectives. You must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, be detail oriented, able to work in a team environment and independently.
• Align multiple projects to obtain program goals and allow for optimization of integrated cost, schedule and effort.
• Adhere to defined Project Management Methodology and Project Change Management procedures, resolve issues and scope, cost, and schedule quality changes within the program.
• Resource and schedule alignment across multiple projects within the program.
• Mitigate risk activities that run across the program, such as contingency planning.
• Create organizational/strategic direction that affects program, project goals and objectives.
• Manage all staff involved with projects, both internal and external resources.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and review project deliverables for all active projects and project teams.
• Provide technical and analytical guidance to other project leaders and project teams.
• Work with all other areas of IT to ensure appropriate resource leveling and staffing of projects.
• Create detailed project estimates and Statements of Work or assign to adequate personnel.
• Develop detailed work plans, schedules, resource plans, issue logs and status reports.
• Conduct project meetings, project tracking and analysis.
• Ensure timely problem and issue resolution through appropriate issue escalation criteria.
• Quantify, manage, and communicate associated project risks.
• Manage the integration of vendor tasks, and track, review, and assess vendor deliverables.
• Communicate with higher-level staff, functional area manager, project stakeholders and affected business unit staff regarding status of specific projects.
• Maintain quality standards while meeting aggressive schedules
• Effectively work on and prioritize multiple projects while maintaining high quality deliverables.
Basic Qualifications• Bachelor degree in IT, Business or other related program
• 10 plus years of IT experience to include
o 4 – 6 years of project management experience
o Working knowledge of all phases of a development life cycle
• 5 years experience with the JDE framework, and the management of interrelated projects & JDE environments.
• Proven record of successful project management implementing manufacturing systems
