1777 - SAP BA MM PP - Northern Twin Cities Sub

JOB SUMMARY

This individual will be able to collaborate with internal clients, IT colleagues, and other key business stake holders to define client requirements, and develop and present solutions. To assure that the alignment of all business processes follow corporate standards, this person will also be responsible for providing systems support, as well as implementing and providing training on SAP functionality at all locations. This individual will be mainly responsible for the MM/PP areas of SAP ERP.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Implement SAP configuration in Materials Management, Production Planning areas of SAP ERP and is aware of the impact on other upstream and downstream configuration and processes.

2. Research, recommend and implement best practices in SAP where applicable.

3. Provide functional support to end users.

4. Build relationships with internal clients, senior management and IT colleagues.

5. Train end users on assigned modules, and provide technical guidance and cross training to peers.

6. Implement and enhance SAP features. Recommends methods to use standard configuration and existing code to support business requirements.

7. Evaluates and recommends other third party software packages, coordinates implementation of packages selected, and integrates with other systems.

8. Monitor and report to management on the status of project efforts, anticipate and identify issues that inhibit the attainment of project goals and implement corrective actions.

9. Performs appropriate duties, as needed, to support the Information Technology with technical knowledge. Understands the technology of systems, including server hardware and software, networks, workstation hardware and software, operating systems, and database systems.

10. Work on acquisition system conversions as needed.

11. Perform proper testing and documentation before moving changes to the production environment, and ensures systems have proper control and safeguards.

12. Stay current on SAP functional knowledge. Remains aware of developments within the broad area of Information Technology.

13. Models appropriate behaviors and effective communication skills, quality listening, giving and receiving feedback, and effective meeting behavior.


JOB REQUIREMENTS
1. Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or related.

2. Experience
* 3-10 years SAP configuration experience in the MM/PP modules of SAP ERP.
* 3-10 years of functional experience, including project management of large corporate projects. Understanding of a discrete manufacturing in a high-tech environment.
