The position is with a team that is developing software for a virtual system that allows companies access to information regarding mergers, acquistions, buyouts etc. Very exciting!!
Description: Develops user interfaces for Web Applications using Javascript & Ajax frameworks. Applies and drives established development standards, procedures, and strategies within the team. Adheres to design and strategies established by Architecture group. May coordinate activities of the project team, mentor peers, and
assist in monitoring project schedules.
Education & Experience: Bachelors degree. Minimum 4-5 years professional information technology experience.
Specific Skills Required (with minimum amount of experience):• Excellent communications skills both oral and written
• Works well in a large team
• 5+ years development experience
• 5+ years of Java/J2EE experience
• Spring framework expertise (MVC, Security, Data)
• Able to contribute to the architecture of a new spring implementation is a plus.
• Hibernate or Spring Data
• Web Service Experience including RESTful services & JSON
• Oracle (but no need for PLSQL)
• Agile methodology
• Intellij or Eclipse
Essential Duties and Responsibilities* Receive work direction from the project Tech Lead.
* Work with team members to meet sprint commitments.
* Work with the Tech Lead to adhere to established architecture principles for development projects and collaborates with peers on feature design.
* Works with Business Analyst and Product Owner to determine requirements.
* Works with the Quality Analyst to resolve defects.
* Follow departmental procedures and processes implemented by the Tech Lead and Development Manager.
* Learn and adapt to implementation of the Scrum development methodology.
