West Minneapolis SubDO NOT need configuration experience. Just strong knowledge of the MM and PP modules.
RESPONSIBILITIES:• Production support of SAP initiative acting as lead, SAP MM & PP software engineer addressing all processes in MM & PP, including but not limited to, procurement, MRP, Inventory, Manufacturing, Pricing, product costing, integration with Finance, EDI/ IDocs.
• Supporting order-to-cash processes and addressing cross-module integration issues.
• Design processes that integrate well with warehouse management system (HighJump).
• Expertise in MM & PP full life cycle implementations.
• Experience in capturing business process requirements, identification of results, design, configuration, testing, and support of SAP business system solutions.
• Implement process improvements involving requirement analysis, specification writing, system configuration, user exit developments, integration testing, and master data management.
• Support business system solutions and training end-users.
• Utilize business and systems expertise to identify and evaluate business processes improvements for adoption into SAP.
• Provide ongoing support to business partners, including Warehouse, Procurement, Inventory, and Finance.
• Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:• BS Degree and 8+ yrs or MS with 5+ years of SAP Experience.
• Experience with ECC 6.0, MM & PP; Procurement, MRP, Inter-company stock transfers, inventory, integration with FI; LES; EDI/Idoc.
• Proficient in using SAP OSS for resolving issues and suggest suitable changes to the system.
• Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
• Able to work well in teams.
• Familiar with managed services support models.
• Ability to expand job responsibilities, suggest improvements, and collaborate with others to generate ideas and improve processes.
• Industry experience implementing a SAP system.
• Able to highlight issues and problems and convey complex thought, written and oral, in a clear concise timely manner.
