1689 - Business/System Analyst - Eau Claire, WI

The Business Analyst is an Information Systems generalist who possesses proven data and process analysis skills, as well as the ability to query decision makers, systems owners, and end users to define business, finance, and operation requirements in order to drive implementation of solutions and systems to improve business performance.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Act as liaison between internal departments, IS/IT, and third-parties on process/system improvements.
• Lead interdepartmental teams to examine and solve business problems by utilizing systems and data in the most effective and productive manner.
• Develop and modify internal application and database systems and align them to meet business needs.
• Assess available technologies that can be implemented to improve business operations.
• Develop and improve reporting tools and monitoring systems for financial, operational, and management information.
• Provide ad-hoc analytical support to the management team.
• Perform both programming and analysis tasks for internal business systems and needs.
• Document all programming and systems changes.
• Collect, cleanse, analyze, interpret and present data and information.
• Establish rules for data management and governance.
• Provide coaching and training of internal staff in use of processes and systems.

• Demonstrates exceptional business judgment and commercial awareness.

• Formulates strategic ideas and translates them into detailed operating plans.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
B.S. in Business, Finance, Information Systems or equivalent work experience..
• 4+ years of related work experience
• Strong experience with SQL, business intelligence, and data analysis tools is required
• Experience with CRM and ERP systems – Saleslogix and/or MAS500 is a plus
• Proficient with PC-based software programs such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience with VBScript and .NET technologies
