Duties include: • Leads technical design, development and code reviews for the work-product produced by other software engineers
• Participates in the requirements gathering, requirement analysis, design, code, test and maintenance phases of software product development, often in a leadership capacity
• Understands various software development life-cycle models and provides leadership in designing and implementing software projects
• Participates in estimation and project planning activities, including, producing development work breakdown structures.
• Advocates and drives innovation and change for the development team
• Utilizes a thorough understanding of available technology, tools, and existing designs.
• Acts as expert technical resource to programming staff in the program development, testing, and implementation process.
• Continuously improves process and work methodologies by interfacing with peers/cross-functional groups and analyzing activities to improve workflow and work processes
• Makes recommendations to improve operating efficiency and functionality of assigned system areas
•
Requirements: • 8+ years of design, development and architectural experience on Microsoft platforms.
• 8+ years of using .NET tools and solid understanding of the .NET framework
• Significant experience in C#, .Net 3.5 Framework, ASP.NET, Web Services,
• Strong experience with database design, SQL
• Experience with object oriented programming.
• Ability to lead small teams
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team on multiple, competing priorities.
• Ability to use Agile Development principles to release quality product on time
