Duties include: • Works with the business to identify business needs, develop business requirements, functional requirement and technical design documents.
• Develops applications which fulfill the requirements & meet the business need.
• Organizes, monitors, and participates in the design, development, and implementation of new products and enhancements to existing products
• Prepare detailed technical specifications based on functional specification.
• Communicates with business line and technical staff to investigate, analyze and resolve complex technical problems.
• Acts as a Lead Developer in the design and implementation of client applications.
• Provides training to less experienced technical staff.
• Provides support and problem resolution for supported applications.
• Works with clients in cooperation with application architect, database management team, project managers and Client Services personnel.
• Makes recommendations to improve operating efficiency and functionality of assigned system areas
Requirements: • 5 - 7+ years of experience with entire software life-cycle development process, ranging from user analysis, design and development to implementation and support
• Strong C#, ASP.NET, XML and PL/SQL development expertise
• Strong Database design (Oracle), SQL & Pl/SQL experience
• Object Oriented Programming experience
• Excellent planning, organizational, interpersonal and verbal and written communications skills
• Ability to take initiative and ownership of tasks and drive them to successful completion
• Ability to work independently and as a team member
• 5+ years' application development experience
• BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Development of detailed Project Plans and Estimates
