This is an opportunity to have a lot of variety and constant exposure to new challenges in the tech field.This is a fulltime position writing web application solutions for client companies. The position involves participation in the complete life cycle of development, including requirements gathering, design, development, and implementation.
The years of experience are not really the driver. If someone has lighter experience but has the aptitude and the personality/attitude fits, they will hire with a lot more flexibility on salary.
Developers with the following kind of personality: - A passion for Web Technologies: a desire to understand how/why web technologies work, the best way to utilize all of the technologies together
- Not intimidated or biased by a certain technology
- Can multi-task and by that able work across several different clients/projects during the week and not be frustrated by changing priorities
- .Net web development training or experience, C# is preferable – the key here is that most of the work is .net but we are NOT a .net shop as they pride ourselves in making the right technology recommendation to fit the client’s business needs
- Also do development in open source technologies like PHP, MySQL, Wordpress, Drupal and commercial applications such as Ektron (a content management tool)
- Mobile apps are becoming a larger part of their business, specifically integrated mobile apps with web apps through web services, etc
- Very collaborative team environment with support from other strong technical resources
- Informal, fun office environment
- Most the work is done at their office in Golden Valley. Some clients that like to co-locate, but that is usually 1 day a week or so
Requirements: • .NET framework 2.0 or newer, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, .NET Web Services, C#
Strong verbal & listening communication skills are essential for sharing information with team members & clients. Candidates looking for a fast-paced environment with a variety of assignments and leadership aspirations will be given priority in selection process.
